Dedicated status activity log

Log your range visits, matches and hunts, and print a yearly report for your association.

Dedicated hunters and sport shooters (Section 16) must stay active every year to keep their dedicated status, and associations ask for proof of activity. LicenseWatch's range log keeps that record for you.

What you can log

Frequently asked questions

How do I keep my dedicated status?

Stay active with your accredited association every year and keep proof of your activities, such as range visits, matches and hunts. Each association sets its own requirements.

Is the range log free?

The range log with PDF reports is part of LicenseWatch Pro (R99 a year or R299 for life). New accounts get 14 days of Pro free.

LicenseWatch is an independent service. It is not SAPS, the Central Firearms Register or the FLASH call centre, and it is not affiliated with them. It reads the same public SAPS status enquiry you can use yourself.

Track your SAPS firearm application for free

LicenseWatch checks SAPS for you, explains every status in plain English, estimates when your next step should happen, and reminds you before your license needs renewing.
